Slow drawings made by a fast machine.

Generative line work drawn with technical pens on an AxiDraw and an old HP 7475A. Each print is a single run on archival cotton paper — no two are identical.

About

Crackaplotter is a one-person studio. I write small programs that describe a drawing, then let a pen plotter spend anywhere from twenty minutes to six hours putting it on paper.

Pens are Rotring Isograph and Sakura Pigma Micron; paper is Hahnemühle and Canson Edition, 250–300 gsm.

Prints & commissions

Editions are small and sell out irregularly. Commissions are open a few times a year, usually for wedding dates, maps and hometown coastlines.

Prints ship flat between card, worldwide and tracked.
